ALINTA COOLING TOWER REBUILD

Complete replacement of all the internal timber framing members. This project took place over three years during 4 week shut periods. The cooling tower is separated into three sections allowing two sections to continue running while work takes place on the other.

Work consisted of:

• Full height scaffolding for the section of work to be completed on

• Removal of exterior fibreglass cladding and internal baffles

• Lay temporary platforms for access

• Remove internal rotten timber, prop structure and replace with new pre-cut

  timber lengths

• Replace internal baffles

• Install new fibreglass cladding
